Synology C2

Synology C2 Object Storage is S3-compatible and authenticates with an Access Key ID and Secret Key.

What you need

• An Access Key ID and Secret Key.
• The bucket name and region.

Create API keys

1. In the Synology C2 Object Storage console, open Access Keys (or tick Create key while creating a bucket).
2. Copy the Access Key ID and Secret Key (download).

Endpoint & region

https://<REGION>.s3.synologyc2.net — e.g. https://eu-001.s3.synologyc2.net. Available regions: eu-001, eu-002, eu-003, eu-004 (Frankfurt), us-001, us-002, us-003 (Seattle), tw-001 (Taiwan). Use path-style addressing.

Connect the Fleet

1. From the Fleet page, click Create Fleet and pick Access Keys.
2. Paste the Access Key ID and Secret Key.
3. Set the endpoint for your region.
4. Click connect.

Supported features

C2's supported features are limited to object I/O plus migration.
