IDrive e2

IDrive e2 is S3-compatible and authenticates with an Access Key and Secret Key. Each account gets a unique per-region endpoint host shown in the dashboard.

What you need

• An Access Key and Secret Key from the IDrive e2 dashboard.
• The bucket name, the region, and the exact endpoint host shown for your account.

Create an access key

1. In the IDrive e2 dashboard, enable the region you want to use first.
2. Go to Access Keys and click Create Access Key — set a name, region, and permissions.
3. Copy the Access Key and Secret Key.

Endpoint & region

https://<REGION-ENDPOINT> — the dashboard shows a unique per-region endpoint host for your account (it includes an account-specific suffix). Copy that exact host.

Connect the Fleet

1. From the Fleet page, click Create Fleet and pick Access Keys; enter a name, the bucket name, and the region.
2. Paste the Access Key and Secret Key.
3. Set the endpoint to the exact host from your dashboard and connect.

IDrive e2 supports versioning, lifecycle, CORS, bucket policy, object tags, and Object Lock.
